Patients Rights & Responsibilities
Yours vs Ours Rights and Responsibilities
Patients' Rights to:
1- Access
2- Safety
3- Respect
4- Partnership
5- Info
6- Privacy
7- Give feedback
Further Explanation:
Access to our professional dental services are not free.
Access to your dental health info, mutual practice of open disclosure and communication do not require us to explain in details step-by-step the procedure we will take to complete the dental services for you. They also do not require us to explain the rationale, the technicality and intricacy behind the dental item numbers we use to work out your treatment plan estimates. A patient does not have a right to dictate to a health care provider what kind of services or procedures they should be given.

At Dens in Dente Dental Care, we have a zero tolerance policy toward anti-social, intolerant, bullying, prejudiced and abusive behaviour in person, via email, over the phone, via social media, via third party and via a myriad of other modern communication technology.
We reserve our rights to not welcome anyone, whether they are patients or staff, who abuse their rights to freedom of speech by providing false & misleading negative feedbacks on social media out of sheer spitefulness. While you have a right to refuse a diagnostic test, a radiograph, and so on, we reserve our rights to refuse to provide you with further services should we consider your refusal to be unreasonable and causes us to become unable to provide you with a proper diagnosis, investigation, treatment plan and dental care.
We reserve our rights to refuse to serve any patients who make unreasonable & irrational demands. We reserve our rights to refuse to serve any patients who disrupt the harmony of the practice, behave violently, verbally abuse staff, harass and threaten staff &/or behave in a disrespectful, prejudiced, rude and unreasonable manner. Such patients will be banned from Dens in Dente indefinitely.
